String Orchestra

Intermediate
String musicians only (Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass)
Suzuki books 4 through 6. Generally grades 3 through 9.

Studio String Orchestra

Advanced Beginner
String musicians only (Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass)
Suzuki books 1 (completed) through 3. Generally grades 2 through 7.

Community Outreach

OYOs Community Outreach offer students further performance opportunities throughout the area.

Solo and Concerto Competition

OYO members in each orchestra (Studio String, String, Philharmonia, and Symphony) have the opportunity to compete in the Solo and Concerto Competition each Spring.

Merit Scholarships

Every season, OYO awards $125 Merit Scholarships to 12 students to be applied toward their music education – i.e. lessons, instrument upgrade, music camp, etc.
